  • In your free 20-minute consultation, you and your therapist will explore the core reasons driving you to seek therapy. Your therapist will also tackle any immediate concerns or questions you might have.

This is more than just a quick chat; it's your chance to get acquainted with your therapist's approach and techniques. At the same time, your therapist gets to learn about you, your goals, and what you're hoping to achieve in therapy.

Mutual comfort and understanding are crucial for successful therapy, so this introductory meeting helps you get a clearer picture of compatibility.

  • For your first full session after the initial consultation, all you really need to bring is an open mind. You and your therapist will have scratched the surface of your challenges; now you'll dive in deeper.

If you've thought about specific goals or outcomes you want from therapy, great - you can talk about those. And if you're still figuring it out, that's perfectly fine. Together, you and your therapist will shape the therapy journey that's right for you.

  • Sessions usually last 50 minutes, which provides enough time for you and your therapist to talk, think, and map out your next moves.

  • Therapy sessions typically start on a weekly basis, but we prioritize what's best for you. Based on your unique situation and needs, your therapist might recommend sessions twice a week or perhaps once every two weeks. Together, you'll determine the pace that best supports your growth.

  • The duration of therapy can differ greatly from individual to individual. That being said, most of our clients start feeling a real shift in their life within their first six sessions.

These initial six sessions serve as a focused opportunity to dive into your unique emotional landscape. If, after this period, you don't experience a marked improvement in your emotional well-being, it may suggest that your therapist might not be the optimal fit for you.

The central objective here is your ongoing emotional growth and the effective management of your emotions. Your journey is our primary focus, and the ultimate aim is to ensure you receive the therapeutic guidance and support most aligned with your personal development goals.
